So you log online to find homes for sale in your area. The two big websites for Real Estate searches come up….Zillow and Trulia. Then 1000's of local agent and brokerage-run websites pop up, giving you an option to search their inventory or the local MLS.
Zillow claims you can find 1000's of more properties on their forum and search than the local MLS, because they use data from banks, REALTORS®, foreclosure's and For Sale by Owner Properties.
…WHAT THEy DONT TELL YOU is half the homes you are looking at are either already in Escrow when they are listed Active, giving false hope for Buyers.
